be careful to pay by direct debit and not by credit card. I was this offer in this months marie claire mag and called the number to subscribe and when she asked me how I wanted to pay, I said credit card without thinking, and when you pay by credit card, they take two years payment upfront! I found this out when I called back later than day to order a gift subscription for a friend, and thankfully managed to cancel it.
Not buying clothes for a year - it's liberating!

Thanks for the link re. the Trilgo gift set.:T
I had just subscribed with the £12/12 issues offer and then saw your post! I managed to cancel first subscription and then subscribe with the gift set instead, which I received a couple of weeks ago (which was lovely)! Received 1st mag recently too.
Now I'll make sure I check here first before I subscribe to anything!

Yep, great offer, just remember to cancel the direct debit as soon as first payment comes out, otherwise you will be charged £33 after 12 months.

Cancelled on the last offer before DD and haven't received a magazine since.
I did say the reason was that I just wasn't keen as it's too full of ads so maybe that's the reason?
Think that offer was for a few mega cheap issues then the DD would kick in. As I said, I cancelled and only got 1 even though i'm sure the offer was for 3 or 4 issues. I do find it a bit of an ad overload so wouldn't keep it however on reflection I didn't get a gift so it would've been less hassle to just buy and try a regular copy lol.
Just wanted to drop this in as the deals change now and again.

I subscribed for the 12 mags for £12 ages ago had probs with DD set up so didn't expect to get the Trilogy gift. Got my first issue last week then yesterday out of the blue an envelope arrived (took a while to convince hubby I'd not ordered anything else :cheesy:) inside was Banana Republic, Lush Orchid Sensuous Body Mist 250ml, Body Lotion 250ml and Body Butter 200gm and a letter apologising that they'd run out of Trilogy sets, how fab, I wasn't expecting anything.
