What can be done about money took out of an account without my permisson ?
bank of ireland says there is nothing they can do about ,psni has been involved and they say they cant do anything ,any advice?

    I know someone in a similar position. Nothing was ever done about it. If you get anywhere with it let me know.

    Perhaps try the financial ombudsman?

    It was my friends hubby went to atm bank of ireland to withdraw his wages and his money had gone bit of a boker he had loads of overtime done ..boi said he had been skimmed there was nothing they could do ..and then to add insult to injury they charged him £30 for being overdrawn ..i read an article online that said all boi atm had securiy measures at them any advice on this i would be grateful
    i myself am a boi customer and had my cc done online once for 100 usd but i got it refunded .maybe we have a boi clerk (is that the word) who can advise ..i know if it wasme i would be in demanding to see the manager .

    Difficult one..if his card had been skimmed they would need the pin to withdraw cash. I have had a few "problems" with BOI and in every case they have seen sense! I would also be breaking down the door to see the manager and threaten to take my business elsewhere

    My wife had her Ulster bank ATM card skimmed a couple of years ago for £300. Ulster bank refunded it, just had to fill in some paperwork.
