Halfords Super/Extreme Brilliance Headlight Bulb BOGOF

2nd winter running where I have had a headlight bulb go in my car! Just nipped into Halfords and they have a BOGOF on their Super Brilliance and Extreme Brilliance bulbs. Never tried them before but they are supposed to be up to 50% brighter for the Super's and 90% brighter for the Extreme's.

Anyway, these retail for £14.99 and £18.99 a unit respectively so a BOGOF makes them much more palatable on the pocket!

I bought the Super Brilliance ones a while back on the same offer. It was noticably brighter so I replaced the working one as well to even them up and kept that as a spare.

Knowing Halfords prices I'm sure that even this BOGOF offer can be easily beaten online. Buying cheap before you need one may be a good idea I reckon. Think ahead!

I've used the Super's in the past and haven't found them any different to standard bulbs.

You can often get a complete set of bulbs, including 2 x 50% brighter headlight bulbs (I know they do H1, H4 and H7 sets from memory) in Lidls.

You get about 10 various bulbs, inc the 2 x 50% brighter headlights for £3.99 or thereabouts. And, again from memory, these are from a well known maker, probably German!
