house price falls help buy-to-let investors

I think its a good thing that will actually help FTBs because many sales will be going through below market value therefore bringing the prices down even further. Plus more expensive properties will come down in value as many BTL landlords would need to spend most of their cash on buying up streets of terraced houses for peanuts to maximize their portfolio and rental income. Whereas houses in more desirable areas would be out of their price range and limited to only a few people who are lucky to get a mortgage approval hence the value will be dropping faster. Its a bit like the reason why London is falling faster and more significantly than the north east/west of england.0
