Just thought I would share this

Been with paypal for a few years now, only owe about £9,500 thousand give or take a few pounds.

Finish line is 2011, looking forward to getting there or even quicker if I can.

Got a letter of one of my creditors asking me for a financial rewview with all my details etc. Letter posted 15th feb, if we don't hear from you by the 17th Feb we will ask for a automatic increase in your payments.

Phoned paypal they sent the e.mail to them with the same details as last april nothings changed apart from bills going up but wages staying the same. I am in a job on a years contract, they know about this. Hopefully I will be kept on and still be able to pay my debts which I want to.

Does anyone else get the jitters when the creditors get in touch with them?

Sorry for it being long winded. Be careful out there.

Farquar.

i got a letter from my debt company, saying they were going to increase my payments by £5 ( sad heh) ,but if i couldn't afford it to let them know, i will see if i can, if i can't ( even sadder) i don't need to pay them anymore yet ;)

Anyone who gets these letters just pass them onto whoever is running your DMP. Or if you are doing your own DMP just send them the same SOA as before with the same offer. If, like the OP, you get one of your creditors trying to mess you about by not giving enough time to reply, you have the option of a complaint to the OFT. But if you otherwise have a good relationship with that creditor its not worth it.
