Holiday tupe issue

I have a colleague who been in her position over three years and she has realized that she has nt been given the correct holiday entitlement for the last three years. This has been further exasperated by the fact that last year they were tupe 'd and the new employer will honour this years holiday but not backdate it they…

Hi Toots,

Thanks for the advice.Our new boss is happy for us to take the holidays owing,but doesn't seem to think that he should pay.However,I suspect that this is more down to his lack of knowledge about the law rather than a deliberate desire to cheat us.

He has promised to look into the matter,but it is good to know the rules for ourselves in case we do need to fight our corner.;)
