    hi,

How about making something? a cake or some buns?

Or making up a Night In pack - facemask (80p Wilko's for a single one), hot chocolate powder, marshmellows and cream all pretty cheap at ADSA, a magazine £2-3, bottle of bubble bath and a dvd (PLAY/AMAZON/HMV online, be sure to order in REALLY good time for HMV).

You can add anything else you like and personalise it totally to the person.

How about having a pamper party or something? Sparking wine, home made cocktails, face masks, manicure stuff, fancy nibbles! Or see if any of the beauty therapy students from your local college will come and give facials, massages etc for cheap?
Or have a Virgin Vie/Body Shop party, get all glammed up and then out for a few drinks?

for my sons 18th last year we had not a lot of money so I took him to a local pub, said he could invite a few friends, which he did, I bought the first round of drinks & then they had to buy their own- he got to have his first 'officially legal' pub drink & a great nite out for not much outlay- we chose a pub that we knew well & that had a disco on that night so that people could dance etc... it was a great night.
