I don't know how you are planning to store your wedding dress once worn or if you are going abroad to get married and need to carry it but I found this company when I was looking through Attire (this is a bridal trade magazine).

They make handmade storage boxes and travel boxes for wedding dresses and accessories. If you look on the travel box section, they kindly give you the hand baggage size requirements for all major airlines.

That's useful to know, thanks Horace. I'm not sure whether to keep mine, sell it or donate to a charity shop, I expect I'll have a better idea once the wedding's happened.

I got a wedding dress cover from Johnsons dry cleaners for £10, I thought I would have to buy something expensive but was pleased with this. Probably not much good for travelling with though, it's just plain canvas.
