I'm not aware of any £5 coins existing for indivual years. You could get a commorative coin set for 1926 for around £30-£40. See: http://www.eurocosm.com/Application/products/Coins/hcoins2GB.asp?y=1926&ti1=1926%20Commemorative%20Coin%20Set
Or you might get a halfcrown for 1926 which could be put into a photo frame by yourself."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0 -

2006 Eightieth Birthday
Reverse of 2006 Queens 80th Birthday £5 Crown
Obverse of 2006 Queens 80th Birthday £5 Crown?
Commemorative Five Pounds Crown
During the last half century, crowns have often been issued to commemorate special events. The 2006 Five Pound piece will be crown sized coin, probably struck in three different metals and a total of five different variations. It will mark the occasion of the 80th birthday of H. M. Queen Elizabeth II.
Writing this page on 17th March 2005, the days after Budget Day, it is impossible to predict what the design will be. Apparently, in his budget speech, Gordon Brown announced that the proceeds of the sales of the coin will be used towards the cost of the memorial. The Queen, and other members of the Royal Family, particularly Prince Charles will be involved in the process of selecting the specific design.
It's on the website that I put on here earlierI haven't got one!0 -
2006 Queen's 80th Birthday £5 for £5
Each year, both the Royal Mint, and Westminster Collections offer a loss-leader of a £5 crown for £5, post free. This is to get you onto their mailing lists, and into their clutches, usually so they can market their more profitable items at you. Here at Chard, we don't believe in this type of aggressive marketing, and some years back, we stopped offering the ordinary circulation crowns because we recieved too may complaints about the quality of their finish, even though this is a factor which is beyond our control.
We noticed the Royal Mint's offer which is restricted to one coin per household
The Royal Mint has received approval to issue an historic new British coin on the occasion of The Queen's 80th Birthday. The £5 coin will be available for one year only and is sure to be a real collector's item. As we are expecting unprecedented demand we are issuing a limit of one per household and have introduced a special application procedure to allow you to order your coin in advance. Don’t miss your chance to be amongst the first to own one for no more than the face value of £5. The Queen’s 80th Birthday £5 coin will be sent direct from the Royal Mint in 2006, in time to celebrate The Queen’s 80th birthday on 21st April.I haven't got one!0 -
