Help with credit report

I have today received my credit report from Experian

A couple of questions

This has appeared on my report twenty (yes 20) times
they say unrecorded but still show doesnt look very good
all iwanted was insurance quotes which i paid for up front so why searching?
Searched on: 23/03/2008 Searched By: ROYAL & SUN ALLIANCE INSURANCE PLC Application Type: Unrecorded Enquiry

this has appeared 8 times
Searched on: 23/03/2008 Searched By: AGP (ADMIRAL BELL DIAMOND ELEPHANT) Application Type: Unrecorded Enquiry


Also when will this be off my record will it be six years after 19/8/03

Default Balance: £1,153 Current Balance: £1,200

Defaulted On: 19/08/2003 File Updated for the Period to: 15/02/2009

am i doing something wrong on here mines the only thread on the first five pages that has no answers

Its been a little busier than usual here have a little patience & someone who's a little in the know about credit files will answer as soon as they can...your doing nothing wrong

I have heard (but never seen it) then when you go through insurance comparison site a lot of them do credit checks at that stage. How true this is I don't know, but it could explain the mutiple entries on your credit report.

thats a bit naughty with the insurance comparison sites im only getting a quote and i paid in full upfront
perhaps i should have gone for direct debit and got some more green dots on the report


No its a seperate default not connected with insurance
is a default removed six years after the default date or six years after the satisfied date?
Also when will this be off my record will it be six years after 19/8/03 ?? what the insurance searches?
