    Hi Sugarpants,

I use AOL for my broadband which is £9.99/ month. For the last few months I have also used them for my home phone (still pay line rental to BT). AOL had a special offer for a while which means that I get all landline calls free (obviously exept premium rate numbers). Even if they don't still have this offer I think it is something like £5.95 per month for all landline calls. Calls to mobiles are extra, but even with those I am paying about £13 per month for my broadband and calls, plus about £12 to BT. Would be well worth you looking into it- it could half your bill!
    Hope this helps.

Just a quick note to say i'm currently with talk talk and have unlimited calls and these include international calls/ broadband for about £21 including line rental.
I am sure there are better deals out there than that, but thats already a saving of £360 a year.

Your energy bill well be correct, after all it is darker and colder at £120 a month. Go on the comparison sites with cash back to see if you can get it cheaper.
Also see whats left on standby and turn it off- especailly the printer and computer and microwave- save about £100-150 pounds a year

    Hope that helps.
:money: Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou to everyone who has helped.

Talk talk sond great too. So you get line rental with this? So you have cancelled BT altogether?

    Hiya

I am with sky on the medium broadband which is up to 8mb and it is £5 a month, been connected since June and not had one bit of bother, infact the speed is x3 faster than when i was paying £26 a month with BT and its the same tel line lol

i work from home on a internet based site about 20-30 hours a week and i also use for my Uni work, which is a lot am never off this darn pc.. i get a 40GB allowance each month which is more than enough.

I have my line reantal with them too, with free evening and weekend calls to landlines, also i have the basic 2 pack deal for tv

Altogether i am paying on average a month £31 for all 3.
I am now debt free :j:jsince January 2009
but really need to learn how to save and budget to get some savings behind me
