  • £1.80 on a pasty from Oggy Oggy today. Not impressed, all potato and hardly any meat! Ah well, only spend of today, have resisted the pub this weekend in favour of watching football and playing Championship Manager.

Sad, I know, but this is to pay back for last weekend, so I don't mind!

Spent £17.25 in Budgens on some groceries ( I will minus this and the fish spend off next weeks shopping budget) ;)

  • Scones are good…they make me happy, especially with lots of proper, real butter on them. :D I’ve tried making my own but they turn out like Army biscuits – how bad is that! - lol. :p

    Hey GreenFingers,

I've just finished making yummy scones from a receipe on the BBC. I think this might be the longest link in the world, but here you go!

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/apps/ifl/food/recipes/queryengine?templatestyle=refine_by_1&orig_kw=scones&config=db&scope=recipes&page=1&pagesize=15&SuppressCaching=0&attrib_26=keywords&oper_26=eq&val_26_1=%2Bscones&attrib_2=programme_name&oper_2=eq&val_2_1=&attrib_3=chef_name&oper_3=eq&val_3_1=&attrib_12=healthy&oper_12=eq&attrib_13=quick&oper_13=eq&attrib_10=vegetarian&oper_10=eq&submit.x=27&submit.y=7

I made the cheese ones - and am also planning to make the warm scones with crab apple jelly and miss out the crab apple jelly part to make them just plain scones!

Just went out for a walk and bought a cadburys flake - yum yum. The money was from a £1 coin I found earlier today under the sofa, so was unexpected surprise. Change will go in change pot.

That's it for today, not going out again, we are having a lovely night in with a DVD I got as a present and a bottle of plonk we got given at Christmas but not drunk yet - hurrah!

    :T

Hope tomorrow is a good day...

I spent £8.73 in Budgens buying fancy cheese, salad and bits to feed my dad when he came down to drop off some furniture for me but then he took me out to lunch instead as he was ravenous when he turned up and couldn't wait for my HM bread to cool down! Nice lunch though...

It's a bit annoying as I'm on a major diet and on a normal day, am not eating any of the things I bought. Can you freeze Camembert cheese??
