I am thinking about getting wedding insurance, especially with the current economy and companies going bust, I want to make sure everthing is protected! Who have you all gone with for your insurance? Who do you think is best value for money? Any tips appreciated! :j

Have a read on here because there are lots of discussions about insurance.
M&S do wedding insurance along with a lot of other companies. Best to shop around and see what you can get, some will cover some things and others not.0 -
I took it out as I was worried about some of my smaller suppliers going bust. It wasn't much at all considering the prices we are spending!
I used a price comparison website. We went with E & L Insurance. Reasonable price, good cover and excess seemed reasonable. It all depends on the type of cover you want though really.

After reading on this forums and other sites I went with Wedding Plan and chose their Gold cover for £39. I also got it through Quidco which was offering 12% cash back.
There are a few threads on here about insurance. I saw a couple of people had said that there had been problems with E&L insurance claims? However I cannot comment personally on this as I don't know anyone who has used them.
Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

We compared debenhams gold insurance - £53 online - and m&s. The M&s £99 package (NOT even the cheapest package) doesn't have as much as debs cheapest one! so we went with debsCleared 30K of debt....5K to go!!0

We went with E & L. I think it was £27.00 (For cover upto 2 years) - and provided sufficient cover for what we need.0
