£100 Cashback for Prepaid Card!!

Hi Guys,

This looks like a good deal, I am sure people will tell me if its not :)

I was looking around for credit cards and found these prepaid cards. Basically if you open up a William Hill casino account and deposit £35 then apply for the pre-paid card, they will give you £100 on the card to spend. Thats a £65 profit, plus anything you win in the casino. Have a look for yourselves.

hi seems like a good cash back offer, but have just been reading the terms and conditions of the offer which states- "a payment equal to the first/next 4 monthly management fees will be debited from the card immediately after payment of the cash back." so not sure how much they will take out from the cash back?

£2.95 Monthly management fee, so a charge of £12 for the 4 months.

Next clause reads "A payment equal to the first /next 4 monthly management fees
will be debited from the card immediately after payment of the
cashback. The first four monthly management fees collected
thereafter will be refunded in full
    .
    "

So after 8 months, you're back to break even on the fees??

Might still be worth it, but I can imagine signing up for this offer will result in a torrent of debt management and cheap loan company mailings and sales calls.

From what I can see :

    £5.95 to open an account
    £2.95 monthly fee
£10.00 Cash out/Cancellation fee (not sure if this is payable if balance is less than £10).

I can't see anything which says you have to keep this for 12 months ? So I guess you could cancel it immediately. So the charges you would get would either be £17.75 or £27.75.

Either way, assuming you lost your bet with William Hill, you would still be up around £40!

In the currently climate, £40 is £40!!!

I signed up and got my card this morning. I've activated by telephone after someone from justcash called me.

The website is flippin useless though. It said on my welcome letter to activate on the website but I didn't have a code to do this. Now I can't find anywhere to add my card to my account to view online. But the woman on the phone said my cashback would be on within a week.
