foreigner having debt in uk banks

hi
maybe somebody can help me
I have lived for 7 years in uk In that time i applied few times for work permits and visas extension to stay in country .Finally i became studant ,got student loan but stopped studing on second year.I sent my passport to home office asking for new work permit and visa extension.i knew it will take long time to get answer from them so i decided to go back home abroad(with a travel document) .i took overdraft altogether 4500£ from three uk banks(student loan accounts) ,and now after 2 years that debtis is about 6000£Now online banking is stopped..I did not have written or verbal contact with banks in that time-2 years.Wwhat is procedure now.Can I still contact banks and ask for way out or i have already became court case or on police/interpol list(i hope not)i dont have passport because it is still in home office.I dont have money to pay overdraft. How to solve debt problem if i live abroad. and whom to apply for help.
thanks zaksplit

If our Home Office still has your passport, how did you travel home? Suggest that you contact the banks where you have taken out loans (someone may suggest something else I don't know because I don't take out loans).

I went home with a travel documents Which you get when you say that you lost the passport
  • I would contact the home office immediately and find out where your passport is! Then contact the banks and explain your situation!

you cant contact Home Office by telephone from abroad.Even you can not contact them from uk by phone. You can only go to Home office and ask passport back but in that case you have to leave the country because you dont have visa to stay in..
