I got some vacuum bags from Lakeland and whilst they worked well at first, it didn't take long for air to get in (mainly through the seal). Also, be very careful how you store them! Alas I haven't got the bags anymore as I caught them on the bed I was storing stuff under, which created a hole and that was that!

Betterware sell good underbed storage bags, ideal for blankets and linen, which is an alternative you might consider! :j

  • LIDL have them in store this week, you get a pack a two, a big one and a small one for £1.99 -per pack
  • Argos used to sell them and matalan sold them for a while but I have to say you pay for what you get the Matalan ones were pretty naff but they were only £3, where as the ones i bought in homebase were crap as well the best ones were the ones in argos. We wnet to stay at my mums for a month and I bought too many clothes with me and back with me so i had to vac pack a family of 4 entire wardrobe did the trick but the air was starting to come back by the time we got home about 5 hours in the car.
