The hairspray you are using must have alcohol in it (I am told by hubby) as you can get many without alcohol and these do not work. We also found the stronger hold ones dry really quickly so you are not able to leave it to work for 5 seconds or so because it dries. Works on our cream leather sofa everytime on biro. I can voucher for this after my daughter used my 12 hour old cream sofa to do LOTS of drawing on        and those rubbish ink cleaners from the leather companies are absolute carp!!0

Not very OS but it might be worth investing in these

I haven't tried them so I can't say if they really work or not but I'm having some problems with some really stubborn stains so I'm definitely thinking of giving them a try.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Milk, or maybe white spirit?0

Metal Polish shifts nearly anything, no need to scrub and scratch just moisten the ink with the fluid or wadding and wipe off with a clean soft cloth.

quickwash gets rid of ink, but I dont know where you would buy it from.
Working at a printing company we have loads but I doubt you can buy it from many places. Its also nasty stuff, lots of warning labels all over itJeremyMarried 9th May 20090
