Under eye conceler

I buy the Dior under eye thing it is exellent and last a long time, I will be running out soon I bought this one in the end of November last year so I do get good value out of it. But and there is a BIG but, it costs about £19 eek.
Being good now I think that it would kill me to hand over so much money and I know in advance I simply won't be able to do this, could really do with something good like this any ideas?

You could check out the No7 magic wand concealer, they do a yellow shade as well as a pink shade, depending on your skin tone. I use YSL Touche Eclat but at £20 a time, i will be looking around next time i start to run out. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Do you have a Boots card with enough advantage points on to buy it?
I use nice make up, I prefer to buy nice make up than to spend money on clothes. My defence is that although an item may cost £20 I will wear it on my face almost every day, my face is the first thing that people look at and it's what makes me feel confident about myself. I would be happier going out in scruffy clothes and immaculate make up than being dressed up to the nines without make up.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to itJust run, run and keep on running!0 -
The body shop do one in a little tube can't remember the name but by eck it works!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I would also recommend No.7 make up & skincare. I have very sensitive skin & have to be very careful what I use but I find No.7 is as good as much more expensive brands.
My one real luxury is a Clarins eye contour balm that I use at night & pay over £20 for. It probably lasts me about a year though as you only need a tiny bit so it's cheap really!!0 -
I love Clinique (which suits my dry, sensitive skin) and have actually wasted more money buying cheaper versions of make-up that I end up chucking away. I use the YSL one and I have tried cheaper versions of undereye concealers and have always gone back to the expensive stuff. If you stick with Dior my advice is to buy it from Boots or Debenhams and get points (if you have the loyalty cards). Also buy during the free gift with purchase promotion. Dior does nice free gift sets. You'll probably have to buy two to get the freebie, but if you don't open the second one and keep it stored in a cool, dark cupboard it will last fine. I actually haven't bought any make-up for ages because my freebie Clinique bonus time gifts last me for yonks!0

have a look for your fave product on ebay.
I bought a brand new Touch Eclat for a fraction of the shop price.
good luck !0 -
I use benefit ooh la la and always pay for it with advantage card points. It's not really a concealer but is something that gets rid of puffy eyes. I also use Loreal Visible results stuff which you can get in Morrisons/Wilkinsons/Savers and probably other supermarkets as well.

And going a little more off topic I have actually found an eye cream that really works!! I bought the Avon Anew Force Extra triple lifting eye cream and have been using it for the last four days. I can't believe what a difference it has made to the lines around my eyes. When I put it on at night I no longer wake up looking like I haven't slept for a weekOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

I also like the Christian dior and Touche Eclat concealers but when I was really cash strapped a couple of months ago I bought a Rimmel Hide the Blemish stick (looks like a lipstick) and I have to say that it is tremendous. I bought the fair one and it seems to stay put longer than the more expensive ones too. I also, thanks to a thread on the freebies board the other day, e-mailed Avon and asked them for some product ideas for under eye shadows and general skin firmness and this morning a Box (yes really a big box!!) of free samples arrived with sample sizes of eye creams, concealers, skin firmers, shower gels and a cream called lift and tuck - I was sooooo thrilled!! They also sent me a new Avon catalogue with voucher for 10% off and free gift so I will definitely be ordering some stuff from them when my Rimmel runs out! If you want the Avon thread it is on the freebies board and it is just called Avon (Sorry I don't know how to post links and stuff yet..)Jane
