Bad credit loans

I'm looking for advise of my very tricky predicament! I have warranty on my car, and have now found out its a little rubbish as I have to pay 50% of the cost of parts. My gear box as failed and it needs a new one, and this is going to cost me nearly £1500.
Things are a little tight as we are currently paying a mortgage on a house that we don't live in as its too small for our new family (and don't have a tenant in there at the moment, and can't sell it due to the housing market and a £8000 redemption penalty on the mortgage) we are also paying rent on where we live and nursery fees for our 9 month old daughter.
I've tried to get a loan but have failed because I was declared bankrupt in 2006, after I had a car crashed and caused £75k of damage, and my insurance managed to get out of paying on a technicality, I fought the judgement for over a year, and was then told that my insurance company RAC was right to pull out, but I was told I had a case against AXA who past over my details completely wrong when they had there car insurance section taken over by the RAC. But I didn't have time or money to fight the case again as I was facing 5 different legal firms casing money from the crash from me, so I was declared bankrupt and released 6 months later.
I've had zero success in obtaining any finance for the repairs to the car, and my fiancee has failed twice also due to the fact she lives with me, which i so unfair.
Any advice? and sorry for waffling.
