    It does with my lifetime tracker BTL mortgages with the Coventry that dont have a collar, if it falls by 0.5% today then it will 1.25% Rate for me.

    We are in the fortunate position too of a life time tracker of .35% above base.

    In reality this is merely compensating us for the capital loss in our home which we purchased in July 2007. At current rates we are on course to save £62,000 in interest over the term of the mortgage :D

    Banks and insurers are being marked down. Lower profits from lower interest rates will not help them rebuild their balance sheets.

    To be fair it was lower before the statement was released. The money markets have hardly changed from before the decision either so I think it was completely expected and "cost-ed in"
