Northern Rock Borrowback (T&C Changes)

Warning: Northern Rock have changed their borrowback procedure. It's no longer a case of phone up and request if your standard method of payment is by anything other than Direct Debit. If you want to borrowback funds, this needs to be requested in writing, with both parties signatures if a joint mortgage. They will then send you a cheque.

A question though..... I consider this a change to the terms and conditions of my mortgage deal..... that I have not been notified about in writing. Would I be in a strong position to complain? The money is to be used to pay off a 0% credit card deal which is expiring so unless I get the money in my account soon, I'm going to be paying a far higher interest rate. I will be out of pocket, and very stressed out.
