Smooch Wedding Rings - free gifts if you book an appointment

Now, upfront I'll say - I have not used this company and have only just received an email from them today. So i don't know how decent /reasonable they are but I thought this offer in the email was worth passing on to you guys.

I guess the ukbride.co.uk site on which I signed up to so i was entered into a competition to win a £15K wedding passed on my details as this is the only wedding thing Ive signed up for since getting engaged a few weeks ago!! )

To PM someone you click on their name and a whole list of things come up like looking at their profile or even sending a private message

We have used Smooch and cannot say enough good things about them. We ordered our rings in Sept and Jan they arrived. Amazing quality, rings are very think(which was a surprise) and the prices are great for what they offer. We liked one thing off one ring and one off another so they made ours with both aspects in. We save £800 off buying in the shops and the service we recieved was amazing.

I would definatly give them a go and see what you think of the ring, we found so many we liked. I would take a pic of our rings to show you but they dont pic very well(well i cannot get pics to look right) and they look thounds better in real life then in pics.
  • I'm the Customer Services Manager for Smooch - I have a couple of clarifications I'd like to make about the offers shown in the post above - I hope this isn't breaking the rules. We messed up and want to explain the offer as it is intended to operate.

The offer was only intended for recipients of the email - however we'll honour it if you mention Money Saving Expert at the appointment and print off the page with the details on.
The Free Gifts for the Bridesmaids and Best Man are unconditional - as long as you have the appointment we'll give you them free - even if you don't buy your rings from us.
The Free Diamond Earings are only given to couples purchasing their rings from us; not just for booking an appointment as stated incorrectly in the email we sent. They would normally retail for £150.

The email was sent before the final proof was done. We have now sent a correction explaining (and apologising for) the error.

I hope this clears up the details of the offer. Apologies once again for any confusion. The person responsible will be doing detention for the next month!

Ooops sorry! It did have a forward on to friends option at the bottom of the email so hence why I let folk know here! Hope you get some business out of it - its still a great offer regardless!
  • No worries Kelda - we just wanted to clear up the mistake and decided it would be best to open up the offer to MSE fans in order to make amends a bit.

    Hi
I ordered my rings from them two days ago and they told me they'd be ready on the 27th April.

They did say the normal time is six weeks, but as we're getting married in May they were happy to get ours done a bit sooner.

HTH. And thanks again Kelda for the e-mail :D
