i have bought a car which was imported from new and reg 2/1/2003 i am trying to get model for insurance its a toyata avensis its says on tax book it is variant cdt220e what model is that up here

sorry my mistake thats a manufactures code for the model, its not on some reg documents
Maybe a Toyota dealership could assist you. Anyway look at a similar model here in NI ans see if your car near matches the spec ie S, GS GLS and decide from there
The Avensis model changed in 2003, is yours the older 2002 model?

the S model is Insurance Group 15
GS and higher are 17

so it depends on how close your car is to the equivalent model here and use that to inform the insurance company
