Zoes DFD Update

 Hi all
Sorry not been about for a while but with having baby and battling DFD i have been rushed off my feet.
Progress to date: i am not further farward than i was a year ago. I can not go bankrupt with out my Cert and DFD have still not supplied me with it!!!! I have only been asking for nearly 12mths!!! I am at a stale mate, cannot get financial aid to force them to give it me, courts not intrested unless i have said cert!! Asked everyone and everyone has come up nothing. Local MP not intrested so i am now doing nothing!!!!! Not paid my IVA for 13months now and i have had no letters / phone calls / anything since i started asking for my cert so i could go BR!!!

Hope everyone is keeping ok
x

I would push your court and DFD (Debt Free Direct) on this. Phone them up and explain your position. (It may help to remind the court that you will be swearing an oath... )

Your court will need something in writing - but does it have to be a certificate? Will a letter or statement showing your payment history do?

Ask DFD for a letter confirming that you have failed to maintain your agreement. According to other posters, this could be quicker/easier.

Your situation is preposterous to be honest. Screaming and shouting won't help but DFD are neglecting their responsibilty here and you should get some sympathy from the court for that.

DFD= Debt Free Direct = IVA factory and rip off merchants.

Some courts require a certificate of failure from the IVA provider before they will entertain your petition for BR.

Are there any other courts near you that you could petition at, that don't need the certificate?.Just a thought.

Maybe like lensman say ring the court and explain and see what they say. Have you tried ringing your local cab to see if they can do anything?. How about ringing your area insolvency service and explaining the situation to them and seeing if they can perhaps help in anyway.

Keep trying and thanks for the update.

We have a couple of posters at the moment with DFD who will find this info useful.Dx

Have DFD definately not filed your certificate with the court? If you know your IVA number phone the court and ask them to check the file - quite often the certificates are already on file - they can then photocopy the one off your IVA file and put it on your bankruptcy file x x
