Thanks for posting matthkj and best wishes for your posting. My husband was special forces, my nephew is a Rupert and my dad was a senior NCO so I have a good idea of what can happen and how things have been managed from Suez on.

I know what you're saying.

It was the Prime Minister, Cabinet and Parliament who placed our armed forces there, not the electorate. Although we didn't collectively think strongly enough on this issue alone to throw out the government as a consequence in May 2005.
