Hi all.
Would really like some help on this - i know a bit about computers but am really bad at shopping.
I'm looking for a PC (mainly to play games online with friends). Im looking for the best PC and am aiming to spend 300-350. Dell and ebay look the best so far
Any help would be appreciated.

I think it will help the computer techies on here a bit more if you tell them what games you are looking to play so they can advise you on graphics cards as these can be fairly expensive.I have a "gaming" pal who spent your whole computer budget on a graphic card.0

I think you'lkl struggle at that money. You'll need to be looking at the 9100 series dells. Try https://www.wizmarkcomputers.co.uk or https://www.dmxdimension.comHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Hi
The computer spec you quoted, its only a celeron processor, intergrated graphics card, if your going to play games you need a dedicated graphics card, either an agp or pci-e slot.
You need fast processor, as much mem as you can afford and a good graphics card, to play games.
If I were you I'd look at the Dell's 5150. you might get one for your price.
Hope this helps0 -

It'd only be worth buying if there was a spare slot* inside for a discrete graphics card.
*AGP or PCI Express, not PCI or ISA0 -

Hi
That one's fine, if thats the one that you want, but a couple of things.
1. If your not interested in the 3yr warranty, select 12mths collect & return, it'll save you £120, that takes the price down to £329.00
2. You must upgrade the graphics card to the 256mb ati radeon,
3. You could upgrade your sound card/speakers and the basic keyboard and mouse is not so good. and anything else that you want.
Hope this helps0 -
thanks for that - think this may be the one i go for - might upgrade the memory for another £60. thanks for the help‘It ain’t over 'til it's over’0
