BFPO Delivery

Hi,
I live in Germany at a BFPO address, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any sites, that deliver to BFPO addresses, with UK delivery charges. I always seem to be looking at £10 + delivery charges, on the smallest of things. Or does anyone know of a way round it?
Many Thanks

Amazon is by far the most BFPO friendly and if you send an email after you have ordered then they will refund your VAT too :beer:0

Depends what you want? Most places offer normal uk delivery charges as all goods for bfpo are sent to a central post office in the uk then flown out foc. I was in the forces and would not pay extra delivery charges. Shop around and you will find a bargin.0

King Of Bling: Forces are entitled to Tax refunds whilst in Germany.
Amazon are great and pretty speedy to BFPO addresses.
Next.co.uk seem to have the monopoly for clothes (also UK postage charges) and free returns through the mail system. I think they clamped down on some of the "home" items last year or the year before.
New Look now deliver to BFPO
In fact the best place to look is: http://www.bfpo.mod.uk/commrecpt_bfpo.htm
and:

You'll have to go through them to see what's relevant and check out individual postage costs.0 -
Does anyone know whether amazon.de deliver to BFPO addresses (given the British Forces presence in Germany) and, if so, do they do VAT refunds for OOA addresses like amazon.co.uk? With the Euro so strong against the pound, it may be a plan. Oh yes, what's the reate of VAT on electronics in Germany?I am not a financial advisor or other expert. All posts are purely my thoughts at the time for discussion, not advice. Bear in mind, even most of this disclaimer is ripped off another forum user. Please check out the facts first before doing anything.0

VAT in Germany is 19% and is called Mehrwertsteuer.
If you are serving in BFPO you can get signed up to "One-Stop" shopping which allows tax free sales taken from a German bank account from a very long list of shops.
BTW, Amazon have just gone bonkers concerning VAT refunds and I have started another thread on that subject.0 -
Had a similar problem earlier this year with getting VAT rebate and now HMRC are cracking down on VAT.
some retailers are charging extra on postage to cover their costs because they know we are going to reclaim the VAT.
This thread should help you and the site is a very good for info and the grapevine is good.
