Having just got around to clearing up after Christmas
, putting my presents away etc., I have a gift of bath salts that I don't know what to do with (apart from send to the charity shop) - I always shower and don't know anyone else who uses bath salts - any clever moneysaving ideas out there?

Are they smelly ones. You could try some in a pretty dish on the bathroom windowsill as fancy pot pourri0

yes, I'm assuming so - I did think about a dish in the bathroom, but didn't know if they'd actually release their aroma into the room - but I'll have a go now!0

Gotta be worth a try.0

If you don't like the smelly bath salts, just put a generous handful of soda crystals in the bath, and enjoy. It makes your skin so much softer, and I always feel cleaner for it.Everybody is equal; However some are more equal than others.0

if you have some old tights etc, fill the bottom and tie in little packages, and put in amongst clean clothes . Might make them smell nice!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

***Soak your tired feet in a bowl of water and bath salts.
***Re-package them and give them to someone else as a gift. (But not someone who's very pregnant or has any kind of swelling in their body.)
***Put them in the cistern of your toilet so each flush smells nice.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Also, if you dissolve one in a small amount of water, you can use it to remove the horrid empty egg shells left behind by head lice (nits) that are so hard to get rid of! Tip given to me by a hairdresser and it works! Will also take out residue left behind from overusing products ie hairspray! Just take a section of the hair, rub a bit of the liquid on, and comb off with a nit comb. Wash as normal afterwards. NB, I would always do a skin test first tho, as you never know what is in these things! My DD has excema tho, and it didnt harm her when I had to do it!0
