If you thiink about it this is the way they have to do it. Given that they will be giving away thousands of tickets it is obvious that families would want to go during school holidays so there is a chance that on certain days you could get swamped.
Btw they charge you to park at A T : I did not expect that:eek:
When did you go? We all went in the school holidays last year and we didn't have to pay to park.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

We went in the Easter holidays last year and we paid, it's a token barrier release system and was £4 I think. You pay before you leave the park and the machine gives you a token for the car park barrier.0 -

I'm sure we didn't have to pay, but I've just checked on the website and found this :
Q Do I need to pay for parking?
AYes, there is nominal charge of £5 for those guests choosing to travel by car.
Still be a cheap day out though with getting the tickets free : I'd use what we would normally spend on tickets to get fast track passes.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

I went with the SUN tickets last year, parking was £4. In total on snacks and parking we spent £10, very good value for money. Well recommended0

I wasn't suggesting we do it on the the Grabbit board.
Probably the best place is 'I wanna buy-it or do-it board' or 'Travel, Trips & Holidays'. It was just a suggestion to people reading this thread that we could swap tickets if we are allocated dates we can't use and could be of use to someone else.0 -

Sorry, you've misunderstood me - you can't swap anything (nor sell) on the whole of the MSE forum ~ I didn't mean this board in particular.

Sorry, didn't realise. Have seen people asking for things on the Buy-it-do-it board, so presumed it could be done.0
