Silver charms for a Links Bracelet

Charms for the Links of London bracelet start at @ £40, but are they good value when you can buy silver charms on-line for about a fiver !
I know you usually get what you pay for, but can I get the same quality( or better ) as Links charms for less anywhere else ?

I would be wary of cheaper ones, i bought a 'links' bracelet from ebay paid & then it was removed for being fake, still waiting to get my money back!
Thomas Sabo do a lovely charm bracelet with loads of charms to chose from starting from £15 this is what i bought instead, the bracelet is only £25 too!
  • I was looking at the Links of London website earlier today, they'd sent me an email about their new charms. I see they've gone up to £45 now, quite an increase! I have a bracelet with 4 charms on & I must admit the quality is fantastic. I know it's going to take a long while to build up a collection, but I just love the Links charms.

My wife already has the Links bracelet, but the charms are so expensive ! Just wondered if there was a better (cheaper ) alternative. I will try Thomas Sabo,

    thanks.

Yes I got that same e-mail message, and I agree they have become expensive. I don't know why, a silver is cheaper than it used to be, I believe. Links don't seem to be bothered by the credit crunch !

it is cheeky for them to put the price up so high :(

I like the Thomas Sabo charms but they clip on rather than twirling on the jump rings and I just don't like the look of the catch for clipping them on. I think it looks quite chunky and ugle, i wish they didnt have to have the big clasp bit!
  • Hi,

I found some nice charms on https://www.exclusivelysugarplum.com worth a look
