Erm.... sorry.... my source was mistaken, this was a forecast rather than the actual report :o:o:o

Thread title edited. Just ignore me:silenced:

It'll be interesting to see how accurate the forecast is when the real report comes out.

And if it's spot on, can your source provide me with a series of 6 numbers between 1 and 49 by Saturday afternoon? :D

I trust pobby's predictions. January's 'rise' was clearly erroneous so it's to be expected that'll there'll have been a large drop in February to make up for it.

Luckily its just the american market where most houses are wooden :)
  • If the Halifax do come out and say there's been a 2% drop tomorrow I wonder how many of those who called them liars/rubbish last month will wholeheartedly believe their figures for February...

I'm not sure anyone said they were liars, the trend is down, that much is for sure, I don't see 2%+ as happening on a month by month basis now, the falls will start to get smaller, but like I say the trend is still down.
  • Well not necessarily. We could have major falls for 6-9 months and then a flat market for a year or more. Who knows ?
