but be aware that they hide stuff in the program, deny its a problem and allow a known spyware program to be bundled with their software

peoples choice !!

Messenger plus is fine if you dont install the sponsor programs.

Msgplus allways starts up when you boot your computer and is always in the processes tab in taskmanger. This means it will oviously slow down your computer but how much depends on your computer spec. I heard on https://www.mess.be that they have already made msgplus for windows live messenger(msn messenger 8). Also there is a plugin that changes the colour of your display name.

If you didn't know you dont need to be invited by are person any more to get windows live messenger. You can simply go to https://www.ideas.live.com and click sign up on the windows messenger live beta. Then you just type your email address and selcet your country. NOTICE- you will not get the invite instantly. It took 3 days for mine. I hope this helps.

some people have donated their invites to the site to allow others to get it before it is released. just go to main page and on the top left hand side there is important announcements..bottom of this list is a subject saying the new messenger live has arrived..click that and scroll down and u should see lots of tiny red m's. those are the invites..just click one and away you go.

Hello people. I got an invite yesterday and decided to see what the windows live messenger is like for myself.... I found it slow and ugly, I know you can change the colour scheme around and you can have messages sent to you when your offline and stuff but, I'd rather keep the main messenger window as it is! and see what pics my contacts are displaying and be able to right click a contact goto plus and see if they were last online and how long for and keep my cool sounds and foonts etc, with my plus. (which I am now downloading again!) Maybe when they release it propley they will have made it better but it's not worth it yet IMHO. I'm sure there might be a few people that disagre but just wanted to let you know my thoughts and experience. Think I'd rather use standard windows messenger than this beta version! But good luck to all that still give it a go!
