Does anyone anwhere REALLY get paid for filling envelopes?

Judging by the amount of junk mail we get - someone is obviously stuffing them but any adverts seem to be really dodgy!!
Any help out there

my mum does it. it's mainly packing things that you send off for off the back on cornflakes! she works for a marketing company in our town. they send home work out when they get too busy in the factory - she started doing it through a neighbour who works there.

i tried to apply but didn't get anything. it not what you know but who you know in the world of envelope stuffing - lol!

Don't trust any ads where you have to pay as these are a scam.

I used to work for a mailing house where they outsourced envelope stuffing etc to homeworkers. You would have to be very local to a mailing house to be able to do this work, and it is very poorly paid in general.

I first saw this 'job' offered in a post office window in 1976, it was a scam then & it is now!

I used to stuff brochures into envelopes and stick address labels on the front for my Dad but he paid me in sweets and McDonalds takeaway! I was about 8 at the time and used to appreciate the junk food. Nowadays he gets his secretary to do it in her downtime and he doesn't get as many requests anymore anyway.

Realistically you're not going to find this kind of job except through word of mouth but I'll repeat what was said earlier:
Do NOT pay any money for this type of work, no registration fees, no buying the envelopes for them to buy them back off you when they're full etc. If this type of work is genuine then the company will supply the stationary at no cost to you and will not require you to pay them to register.
