M&S Current Food Offers - March 09

There are quite a few different offers in the Food Halls at the moment so thought I would post some of the better ones and this list can be added to by anyone if they so wish to.

Pasta is on save 1/3 of the price. Currently this makes the 500g of spaghetti 32p (which is probably cheaper than most 'value' brands in other supermarkets) and penne pasta is 52p for 500g.

Indulgent chocolate bars are 3 for 2. These include the mint truffle, praline, cappucino, lemon mousse and marzipan bars.

Tortillas and dips are BOGOF. You can mix and match these so either get one pack of tortillas and a dip or two packs of tortilla or two pots of dip for the price of one.

Jam sandwich cream biscuits are BOGOF (like jammie dodgers)

Packs of cookies are 2 for £2. These include the double chocolate, stem ginger, pistachio and almond (particular favourite of mine), blueberry and oat and quite a few other variety of flavours.

Ready mixed spirits 2 for £3. These include Harvey Wallbanger and Pina Colada. Each can has over 2 measures of spirit in them. Get an extra 10% off the original price when you buy 6 so an even bigger saving.

Various ready meals are 3 for £5. These include bangers and mash, liver and bacon, spaghetti bolognaise.

Hot cross buns are buy one get one half price. I can recommend the cranberry and orange ones.

The sandwich £2 meal deal which has selected sandwiches (includes tuna and sweetcorn, prawn mayo, egg and cress, cheese and celery and a few others) any packet of food to go crisps and selected bottled drinks such as 500ml sparkling Florida orange, Cola, sparkling peach and raspberry water.
So you get a sandwich, packet of crisps and a drink for £2.

Some of these may not apply to Simply food stores and those at Train stations and BP fuel stations, so don't spend extra money going to get these because they may not be there.

There are a few offers on fruit and veg at the moment but even on offer they aren't that cheap so I didn't put them on.
There is 2 pack of apples/pears for £3. Each pack contains 4 fruits.
Small side salads are 2 for £3. Most are £1.99 each, some are more so the saving is bigger.

Better steam down there, I always miss the dabs fillets, but often buy the mince when on offer- you cant grumble that cheaper than asda, tescso etc, and id much rather eat M&S meat than from anywhere else!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • Thank you for this post, I don't normally shop in M&S for food but the spaghetti is a bargain! :)

There were loads of ready meals included in the 3 for £5 offer: bangers and mash, meatballs and gravy, potato croquettes, lasagne (and lots of different varieties of Italian ready meals), cottage pie etc
