can anyone suggest a way to get a ink pen mark out of a brown leather jacket. it is only a line on the arm but the dry cleaners want £40 and cannot guarantee to get it out even then.

milk dissolves biro but I'm not sure if it would then:
a) leave a milk mark
b) stink!!!
Hairspray (tinned aerosol type) also usually dissolves biro but not sure if that too would leave a mark or damage the leather.
I've only done both on washable items and washed as soon as I've treated them.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
