Wanted - Cheap Trainers

Hello you lovely helpful people!*
I need new trainers as my old pairs are starting to disintegrate - all of them! That'll teach me to buy them all at the same time... Ideally I could do with a pair of sensible fitness trainers, no preferred brand so long as they feel comfy and don't do anything horrible to my feet when I'm at the gym. I'd also like a couple of pairs of snazzy converse trainers/pumps/baseball boots/wahtever you want to call 'em, as loud and garish as possible (or with a decent pattern on them).
I've got quite large feet (size 8, wide fitting) and a small budget - prefer not to spend more than £25-30 max on the trainers, and no more than £15 each on the converse.
I've tried some sites online but the ones I found are either very small sizes or not my idea of cheap.
Anyone got any ideas?

JJB seems to be having quite a sale at the moment, and Sports DIscount Direct is always worth a go. This is however in the shops themselves. I got a £50 pair of trainers in JJB for £10 just after Christmas and the sale is still on.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Thanks guys! Sadly I couldn't find any trainers on the asos site. I was hoping to find something online rather than go trawling round JJB in my limited spare time... but if I can't find anything online, it's good to know there's a sale on.
A bit more searching led me to www.soletrader.co.uk - has anyone here used that site before? They've got some fancy-looking converse trainers going cheap, and some normal trainers, but I've no idea as to the quality as it's mostly brands I don't recognise.
[EDIT] So my google-fu must have failed me really badly the other day, because now I'm falling over discount shoe stores online. Problem solved - it turns out wynsors has an online shop, I'm almost 100% sure I've heard of them and the shoes look pretty good. [/EDIT]:coffee:Coffee +3 Dexterity +3 Willpower -1 Ability to Sleep

Hi!
Have a look in sports direct. They have lots of trainers on sale, name brands reduced by over 70%.
HTH!

I would say http://www.mandmdirect.com/ are cheap as they are an end of line shop like tkmax etc. I would be wary of buying online I have bought twice online (not m&m) and both time it was brands I have tried on and both times they did not fit. ebay, ebid or amazon is another option.0
