Depends how much is she going to cook on it? Does she need a bun warmer? What type of food is she going to cook on it? What's the budget?

She had one of the colour ones but she wants to replace it. She cooks sausages, bacon and things like that on it. She would prefer a bun warmer. The budget is as cheap as possible for the model which would be most appropriate for her. It will be used for her and Dad but she would prefer one which could cater for 4 or 6 people as she always has visitors especially when she is cooking.

I suppose this would meet those requirements. But there are lots of others.

Personally I cook my sausages and bacon in the oven on a ridged pan so the fat drains underneath. But I do like how quick the george forman grills are when you are in a hurry. (I just don't like having to get it out and put it away)

If she is willing not to have the bun warmer than you can get bigger ones that will cook more portions.

Thank you for responding. If she was willing not to have the bun warmer which one would you recommend?

I recomend getting one with a built in thermostat, the one we got from Tesco (5 servings) for about £25 doesn't and find can burn griddle marks on your chicken breasts etc!

The previous person is saying that their grill has not got a temp control. Which they wish they did.

But the temp control ones are more expensive.

This one is bigger, with temp control and timer.

Sorry, I didn't read the post correctly as I had just found out that I had become an auntie just minutes before hand. :o

Thank you for the link though!

    I have this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/George-Foreman-10099-Sloped-Design/dp/B00008WFCW/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen&qid=1236172983&sr=8-6
Managed to get it for only £20 though when it was on a deal.

It has a temp control and timer which are brilliant and (for me) indispensable. Its massive too!
I find it easy to clean by putting in a layer or 2 of wet kitchen roll whilst we are eating then washing with warm soapy water on the draining board once it has cooled.
