Wedding: cash gift

A friend of my is getting married this year, he's looking for a website, that accepts cash (donation) as gifts for his wedding.

He's planning to categorize the cash in a list ( i.e., house payment, honeymoon, etc)

Which website can offer this service, with less fees possible?

Thanks
Mike

    Hi
Some friends of ours used the vouchershop.co.uk - not sure how much they charged or if this is the right kind of thing that you are looking for. Guests can purchase vouchers that can be used in lots of stores including Thomas Cook (honeymoon) and Homebase/Debenhams/John Lewis (house?) to name a few.
    Hope this helps a bit

    We used freegiftregistry.com.au
We were getting married in Australia and used it to list the gifts we wanted to buy and asked people to contribute money for us to purchase those gifts so we didn't have to transport them.
It is an Australian based site, but I'm pretty sure they now accept multiple currencies.
People can also pay direct via Paypal so they don't have to bring cash/cheque on the night.

Have just managed to find a UK version of this site. Same address but with a .co.uk at the end instead of com.au.

Appears to be totally free to use as well!! Thanks than4!

  • Hi there - first post so I hope I get this right!

We are using a website called the bottom drawer. You can select any gift you like and if you buy a gift through a partner site, there is no fee to pay. Or if you choose cash gift (i.e we are doing honeymoon type gifts, spa etc broken down into chunks for people to purchase) there maybe a small fee. they provide lovely little cards as well to pop into your invites, highly recommended
  • WhatToGive is definitely working well for us...... can choose anything, not restricted to one shop.
