Scarborough BS and Skipton Mortgage DD rip off

Oh, here we go again.

If I wasn't using a laptop that had Open Office (c**p) instead of Excel, I would prove it with a spreadsheet. But Open Office crashes if I try to do it.

It's 3 days interest, every month, forever.

It's neither just 3 days one-off, or a whole payment bearing interest forever.

It's not a lot of money.

Scarborough members have no choice - it's how Skipton's systems work.

Scarboro have been collecting my payment on 2nd of each month, not 28th.
So in theory they want the April payment 1 day before the March payment is usually collected!!
Are Skipton, Sheffield United's bankers? I think i see a pattern developing

Let's just keep this to the issue about the Direct Debits and confusing letters, please. It's a lovely sunny day and MSE is a nice place with nice people asking questions and giving help. It gives me a warm glow.

Well guys, I got a letter back from the Scarboro Customer Satisfaction Unit Team Leader (thats a mouthful) and it basically states this:-

The Customer Satisfaction Unit is currently reviewing the concerns I have raised with the legal departments of the Scarboro and Skipton Building Societies, and will respond to your concerns as soon as possible.

Make of that what you will.

I had not realised how what I thought was a light hearted quip could be taken as an offensive remark.
I do now see that it can be so seen.
I therefore apologise to you whole heartedly and I have edited out the offending words from my post.
