Personal expenses spreadsheets

Just found loads of templates on MS office website and they have a personal expenses one, that I thought I could share with you all! I think its fairly easy to customise too! :j

Hope its ok to post it here, but it might help those who are struggling with inputting monthly expenditures! :D

Hope someone else finds it useful! Remember to save it properly after you have downloaded it, as I forgot! Doh! :doh:

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Thanks Polly,

    I spent two hours yesterday building one of my own, only to look here this morning and there is one already done for me LOL. I was going to offer mine to people but this one is LOTS better.

    Thanks again

  • Thanks Pollyorange I'm going to give this a go too. Love some of the entries - I'm aspiring to the housecleaning service and dogwalker!!
  • Hi Pollyorange and everyone

    It's nice and detailed - will help remind me of all the things I spend on. I think I like Martin's one better though for the different ways I can put things in, ie weekly or monthly.

    Although I guess I could include my big one-offs/yearly stuff as lumps in the months they go out.....

    My favourite trick at the moment is to use Excel's 'autofill' to calculate the repayments, interst etc - next to an automatic list of the months, so I can see when my debts will be paid off.

    (Sad I know, comes of being a software trainer. Autofill *is* good though)

    total debt as at 02/02/06 = 18944

    2006 target = finally get my share of money from divorce, pay off cards
    rest of year = use remaining money to build up house deposit
    2007 = buy a house

    I did it - am now safely in house with my boyfriend. We're sorting out our joint finances and getting organised. GOOD LUCK to all those on the board. You can get there.
