We went to the one at Hyde Hall last year, it was a good day out. However, there was quite a queue of traffic to get in. On arrival we were given a free pack containing a couple of packs of vegatable seeds and some leaflets. We had a reasonably priced hot meal and drink at lunch time. We picked up a bargain on a compost bin, £40 down to £20 because of a promotion to get people to compost their garden and kitchen waste. There was a type of 'Farmer's Market' there, however, we found this to be quite expensive, but the quality appeared to be very high.0

Just want to thank OP for posting. Went to Wisley today and thought it was v.good. Weather helped too. They had good activities for kids which made it nice for my 5yr old. The glasshouse is really good and BIG! So a good day and really i wouldn't have gone otherwise...might even go back in summer.:TA friend is a present which you give yourself (R.Stevenson)

We went to Rosemoor (Devon) - had a lovely time. Very busy, hundreds there. Used our bus passes - so a cheap day out for the cost of a light lunch.
Thanks lorweld!0 -
