Quidco paid out (mostly) after 2 years

Weird. I bought a TV in Jan 2007 with £48 due back from Quidco, which was declined. At the time I called AJ Electronics to find out why and they said that the money had probably gone to the organisation I picked from the "how did you find out about us" drop-down box when I placed the order. I was rather peeved and got as far as Trading Standards but then gave up.
Now I get an email from Quidco, two years later, saying that £41 (which is calculated on the ex-VAT amount rather than the total I paid) has been paid. Weird.

Quidco are having a 2006/2007 amnesty on unresolved enquiries and are funding them all from their own pocket. I'm in line to receive £180 and have received £30 so far.0
