Was wondering what LTV was but have figured it out as when I put value 200K and loan 132K at HSBC site I got the following -
Rates from 4.99% to 5.29%. Interest rate fixed until a specific date then the HSBC variable rate applies until the end of the term.
But when I put value 220K and loan 132K got -
Rate of 3.99% - Booking fee of £999. Interest rate fixed until a specific date then the HSBC variable rate applies until the end of the term. Max loan amount £250000 and max 60% LTV.
Yes dimbo61, got your point, this 5 year fixed looks the best deal now good but who decides if my place is worth 200K or 220K - i think it could be between. AND small print says this rate may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
So, deal may not be around in July when probably the surveyor will say my place is worth £180K anyway:-(0
