Q: Have Tesco scrapped evouchers ? & now order deals online!

I noticed on the clubcard page, you can now use your paper vouchers online - at least I think thats what this means:
float_hand.gif Spend your Vouchers online*: Clubcard Vouchers now have a 12 digit online code, so you can use them on your shopping at Tesco.com at the following stores:
Just complete your shopping as normal and enter your 12-digit code at the checkout when asked to enter your eVoucher code.

It seems you can also now order deals online woohoo about time! http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/p.aspx?id=howtoorder

Sadly this is only for the new vouchers to be printed. Older ones, i.e. those that dont have the 12 digit number on, you still have to process in the old fashioned way, by applying in writing - what a pain.

I just got my statement - your vouchers have a code on them, which you can use to order deals online.

I don't know if this is a new problem or not, but you can only order deals in multiples of £1.25. I got a £3 voucher with my statement, and just ordered £2.50 worth of deals, which, I think, means the remaining 50p goes back into my points total and I have to wait another 3 months to use it.

Of course, unlike the previous system where you had to post the vouchers away, I've still got my voucher. I wonder how quickly the tills will realise it's invalid?
I think I might pop down to Tesco this afternoon and try it out...

I received my vouchers this week and was pleased that you now have a choice.

Just back from the shops - my voucher (which I'd already spent online) did beep when it went through the till, but didn't give me a discount.
(It was a kind of 'voucher accepted' beep, not the 'voucher not accepted' beep which the till made when the cashier scanned the frozen foods coupon which I hadn't spent enough on frozen food to be valid)
