Thought here was a good a place as any to post :)

Im moving over to the Kilraughts Rd area end of the month and was wondering if there were any devoted dog owners in the area using this board who would like to get in touch, recommend a vet, be willing to show me where the good walks are or just wanna say hi to a newcomer.

Im moving to an area where I dont know a soul

I moved over from Cheshire three years ago.

    Two good local ones are
    Knockanboy V.C
    136 Knock Road
    Dervock
    028 2074 1252

I use, and can definintely recommend, W.P. McCullough
158 Moycraig Road ( heading out to Whitepark Bay)
    Mosside
    028 2074 1088
He came highly recommended to me when I moved here
  • The park with duck pond is good to walk dog but have to keep on lead.
People from the town are very friendly - live here myself
    maybe we should say hi
    Hope move goes well
