I am self employed, with 3 years accounts done by a chartered accountant. the latest years results were pretty poor.
I understand most lenders just base what they lend you off your previous years accounts. Which lenders take more than just the last year into account when deciding what to lend you? I will be about £10k short of the mortgage I need otherwise.
I will be seeing a broker shortly but I also like to do my own research and it would be nice to visit some lenders directly to see what they say. If someone could advise on the best ones to try I would be very grateful.
