remember the good old days

can anyone help find out where i can find any potatoes puffs that were in red bags and only cost 10 pence a bag there were around in the seventies and eighties, not been seen since .i think they were made by burton`s

  • Occasionally these have been spotted in Home Bargins but haven't seen any for ages. Perhaps ask at a local shop, see if they can see any in the Cash and Carry?

    I love them but my local newsagents have stopped selling them,I loved the beef flavour,Are they still being made?

    oh - I don't know where there are any but I loved those & now you've reminded me I really want some!
  • Burtons did make them in the 90s as I have had them - Butons sell bags of crisps and biscuits at knock down prices at their factory in Edinburgh. I have looked on the Burtons Website and I was unable to find them so it looks like they have stopped making them.

    I remember when they used to make little pigs, can't remember what they were called but I loved em! As soon as I got my pocket money from my grandad i used to be up to the shop to get some! Mmmm

    thanks 4 reminding me i loved them xl crisps as well hope some one turns up maybe nag burtons to make them again fond memories of my schooldays used to like to crush them put them in bread

    I emailed Burtons last month about these and got a reply to say that they have been discontinued...... sorry ;)
