JML Direct Shopping Channel

I was a fan of the shopping channel jml direct. That was until thursday last week. JML are selling the snap and slice for 29.99 plus 4.95pp. I decided to look on e-bay and found the same item for 6.00 and 2.00pp. I sent for it on thursday and received it saturday and saved a whopping 26.94. Now I call that a bargain. So all you who love you kitchen gadgets I suggest when you see these tv channels selling their items first check out e-bay.

I hope your ebay find isn't too good to be true - we bought a nicer dicer from ebay and it was a dangerous fake - the blades snapped whilst cutting an apple and left a piece in the apple!!
If it seems too good to be true, it's probably fake - try googling for counterfeit JML, and you'll see your products on sale from China...
I hope I'm wrong for your sake.0 -

I googled 'counterfeit JML' and can't see much about JML fakes on sale from China. Beside, some of JML stuff are made in China anyway....0 -

I had one of these too! Thought I was buying a JML nicer dicer, but after a couple of uses the blades snapped!
So then paid the proper price for a real JML nicer dicer and it's still going strong now!0 -
It's not just the fakes that can break - not a JML item, but I'm now on my third Alligator chopper (the original product) as the base snapped on the first one and the blades on the second. Luckily I bought from a reputable online retailer who has replaced both.0

Hi How do i know if its a fake? my blades have fallen out and its knackered but my mum got mine from a well established supermarket, could they have fake ones on their shelves?0 -
To be honest most of the JML stuiff looks like bulk standard mass chinese production which they badge and market under their name.0
