Secret Shoppers

Morning Everyone

Just wondered as I keep getting emails about Discount Clearance - anyone investigated becoming a Secret Shopper - is it worth subscribing the 99p a month to find out the way to be paid for secret shopping?

Look forward to hearing from you guys :smileyhea

Paying 99p a month to be a secret shopper........ LoL

I`m a mystery shopper and I GET PAID to do it, not the other way around, your being conned if your paying out.

There are loads of agencies that you can sign up to for free to do it.
I`ve been working for NOP mystery shopping for 3 years now.

  • Thanks for this - inner voice - was not convinced - so I thought why not ask other MSEs for help. This website is great. Do you have any other info on mystery shopping . :kisses3: PS just gone to NOP mystery shopping and they want £9.95 up front to download a book -is this the same thing as Discount Clearance wanting 99p per month? confused :)

It depends on the mystery shopping company and client. Some pay better fees than others and some cover travelling expenses and parking costs.

Once you've been in the job a while, you can cherry pick the companies that suit you best. Similarly once you've been registered with a company for a while and worked hard, you'll be given the plum jobs. It's a job that's pretty much what you are willing to make of it. Don't expect it all handed on a plate to you though, it's you who has to get up and find the work yourself.

Never pay for information though. It can all be found free on the web - try Google and the search button here.
Here I go again on my own....

  • I used to work in retail and I could smell a mystery shopper when they climbed out of their cars in the multistorey scarparks.

Not the good ones! I done a phone shop and the bloke behind the counter was talking about mystery shoppers and said he could recognise one. I said what do they look liked, he pointed to a woman who was browsing and said That's her! I like to see his face after I made my report! Hee hee
