We are going to England for a wedding at the end of July. We'd like to take our car and visit friends and family as well. Does anyone know of how to get a good deal on a ferry to Scotland/England? - the prices seem ridiculous. Thanks.

Tesco clubcard points?
The prices are silly! I wanted to go to Liverpool (as a foot passenger) in June out on Friday night back on Saturday night £175
EasyJet £35 MmmmDave0 -
Try seeing how much it is as foot passengers and hire a car over here.
It might work out cheapermake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Erm as this is a Northern Ireland forum I would guess they are in NI! Also did you not read my post on foot passengers from NI to GB?

Good deal - very unlikely. School holidays July and August = travel companies charging top dollar. :mad:happenin_babe wrote: »We are going to England for a wedding at the end of July. Okay, my apologies and i have modified my post.
Let me explain.
I was looking at a list on 'new posts'
There was no mention of what board it was ie no NI thread was stated.
The OP said they wanted a ferry to England not stating where they were coming from.
I saw a post that i could possible help with and posted.
The next post treated me with disprespect implying that i was an idiot and i found that offensive but yes i did overreact and have apologies above for that.
Enough said.
I'm gone - Whooshmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

We just booked return from Stranraer with and used our tesco points to get the trip for free! Def. a good way to use your tesco vouchers and dead easy0
